The Way Of All Flesh

Submitted by 433RPM:

Like 'Even When It Makes No Sense' this booklet doesn't deal with music that much. It was published by Coup de Grave, as a cooperative project between Coup de Grace and Ashenden. 'The texts that appear on these pages may be useful to some, worthless to others. They reveal the underlying philosophies and intentions of their creators. They exist for those who care to investigate...'. Not the most pleasant thing, but then what did you expect from Coup de Grace?

The Feverish 1

Submitted by 433rpm:

This is the first magazine here which is partly in German and partly in English. I didn't have the original issue, but back in the days the publisher Willi Statsch (who also ran Chtuhlu Records, even when that was a bit later on) made me a xerox of the first issue. I believe this to be complete. I have the other issues too and to be complete, it seemed right to start with this. Contents include articles on Whitehouse, Coil, Non Toxique Lost, Falx Cerebri, Nekrophile Records and more. I think published around 1985.

Grok 7

Submitted by 433rpm:

This magazine was published by David Minshall and number 7 was the last issue. On his R&D Group 28 publishing house he also did a 'best of' of issues 5, 6 and 7, which I also have and will do in the future, as I don't have any other issue of this magazine. This issue has articles/interviews on John Duncan, Autopsia, Jean-Luc Marre, Club Moral, Video Technology, Nekrophile Records, Einsturzende Neubauten, Trax and short bits on various labels.

They Are Going To Take Me Away

Submitted by 433rpm:

I think this was an one-off release from the record label Frux, who brought you the excellent 'Born Out Of Dreams' and 'A Salute' by Organum/The New Blockaders. Small and big features on those two, as well as 400 Blows, Band Of Holy Joy, Coil, Crass, Test Dept, Psychic TV, Die Todliche Doris, DDAA, Allen Ginsberg, Chris & Cosey, Fear Of Thought and We Be Echo. In the scans also included is a piece of artwork by Babs Santini. I guess this was made in 1984 or 1985.

De Nederlandse Cassette Catalogus 1983

Submitted by 433rpm:

This is a booklet I still use a lot for my No Longer Forgotten Music blog, although not this first edition. There have been, I think, three editions, and I always use the second one, as the third omits all no longer available cassettes. I use all three probably to some extend. Its hard to imagine in the internet days how valueable books like this were. Regard this as 'discogs' on paper, basically a list of all independently released cassettes in The Netherlands up to that point. Looking at these lists I'd say there is a lot more waiting to be blogged - yet not by me, as I don't have many of these tapes.
